Obituary
Phillipsburg resident, Alice L. Chance, passed away Wed., July 10, 2013 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS at the age of 92. She was born March 17, 1921 in Phillips County, KS to Arthur & Cicely (Jones) Pembridge. Alice was a homemaker and mother.
Her husband, Dean, preceded her in death in 1975.
Survivors include her sons, Brian and Curtis, both of Phillipsburg; her sister, Iva Jarvis, also of Phillipsburg; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 15, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Gary Davison officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Visitation will be Sat. & Sun. from noon – 9:00 p.m. at the chapel with the family receiving friends Sun. evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice Services, the Phillips Co. Hospital Auxiliary, or the United Methodist Church.
