Phillipsburg, Kansas resident, Alma Juanita Alsop, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at the Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg, at the age of 102.
She was born April 15, 1908 in Jamestown, Kansas the daughter of William James & Mary Catharine (Chitty) Kady. She was a homemaker.
Alma married Richard N. Alsop on Dec. 24, 1929 in Jamestown, KS. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1968.
Survivors include many nieces & nephews and their children.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 in the United Methodist Church, Phillipsburg, with Rev. Phillip Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Mrs. Alsop will lie in state from Noon until 9 p.m. Thursday and again from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church.
