Obituary
Former Phillipsburg resident, Alma Gipe, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, at the Salina Regional Medical Center in Salina, KS at the age of 93. She was born June 28, 1919 in Phillips County to Herman & Lydia (Murphy) Dusin. Her husband, Earl Gipe, and grandson, Troy Nichol, preceded her in death.
She is survived by four sons: Dean of Salina,KS; Ronald of Hutchinson,KS; Dannie of Jefferson City, MO; and John of Ft. Worth, TX; her daughter, Alta Nichol of Lindsborg, KS; one brother, Alvin Dusin of Kersey, CO; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Visitation will be Wed. from 5 – 9 p.m. and Thurs. from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City
