Alta Irene (Romjue) Mulder, daughter of Roy Lamont and Nina May (Norton) Romjue was born November 16, 1929 in Phillips County, KS and passed away September 7, 2023 at Good Samaritan Society in Alma, NE at the age of 93.

She attended grade school in District 26 Springbrook in Harlan County, NE.  Then she attended two years of High School in Long Island, KS.

On April 20, 1946 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Mulder in Phillipsburg, KS.  She lived on a farm in Glenwood Township.  She was a Housewife.  To this union four sons were born:  Daniel, Ronald, Donald, and Richard.

She attended Englewood Church in Phillips County until it closed.  Later she attended Crystal Creek Country Church in Phillips County.

Alta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth on December 22, 2013, daughter-in-law Sandy Mulder, Sisters Norma Hanes and Della Sell, and a brother Dale Romjue.

Alta leaves to mourn her passing her sons Dan and wife Terry of Phillipsburg, Ron of Republican City, NE, Don and wife Von of Yutan, NE, and Richard of Lincoln, NE; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; also nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Jay Brandon officiating. The services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page .  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Phillips County, KS.

Mrs. Mulder will lie in state from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon until 9 p.m. on Sunday in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
