Amber was taken from us too soon by COVID-19 on January 13, 2021 at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, NE, at the age of 65.

She was born in Phillipsburg, Kansas, on November 13, 1955 to Fredrick "Bud" and Wanda (Barnes) Henrichs.  She graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1974 and furthered her education at Fort Hays State University.

On April 7, 1984, Amber Sue Henrichs was united in marriage to Gary Nonamaker at the First Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg, KS.  They spent the next 36+ years together on the farm.  In 1987 and 1990, they were blessed with their daughters, Renee & Melissa.

Amber loved sports and took pride in being a Kensington Goldbug, FHSU Tiger, and Kansas City Royals & Chiefs superfan.  She also greatly enjoyed helping in Renee's classroom each year. The latest, and greatest, highlight of her life was becoming a
grandmother, "Nonny", to Carter.  She spent her last year and a half spoiling her "Little Lady".

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bud & Wanda Henrichs, Phillipsburg, KS.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Nonamaker, of Cedar, KS; daughters, Renee Nonamaker of Lenexa, KS, and Melissa and husband Tyler Treinen of Hays, KS; granddaughter, Carter Treinen.  Also surviving are cousins, Kent Henrichs, Kelly Henrichs, & Kirk Henrichs; Denise Williams; and many friends she cherished as family.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kensington Football Field in Kensington with Adam Inman officiating. Face masks are required.  The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 9:00 Sat. & Sun at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 4:00 to 5:00 Sun afternoon.  Face masks & social distancing will be required.
