Phillipsburg resident, Barbara June Werner, passed away at her home on December 8, 2024 at the age of 81.

She was born June 2, 1943 in Hutchinson, KS the daughter of Paul V. and Irene C. (Tremain) Smith.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons James Lair and significant other Melissa Chapman of Menomonie, WI and Wayne Lair; 3 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Werner; a son Tony Lare; and 2 granddaughters.

Cremation was planned.  No services are scheduled.
