Norton resident, Betty Jean Baker, passed away August 6, 2020 at the Andbe Home in Norton at the age of 86. She was born Sept. 14, 1933 in Beaver City, NE, the daughter of Harold & Leta (Richmond) Baer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1986.

Betty requested that her body be donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center to be used to teach medical students & to be buried there at a later date.
