Obituary
Former Phillipsburg resident, Betty R. Parsons, passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 in Fort Collins, Colorado at the age of 82. She was born February 18, 1928 in Topeka, Kansas to Daniel & Rena (Farley) Chaffin. She worked as a Certified Home Health Aide.
Her husbands, Donald Reid and Duard Parsons, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons: Jerry Reid of Arvada, CO and Melvin Reid of Littleton, CO; two daughters: Jeanine Henry of Wellington, CO and Carliss Lunsford of Phillipsburg, KS; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor David Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Mrs. Parsons will lie in-state Friday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the First Assembly of God Church.
