Phillipsburg resident, Charla L. Hoover, passed away April 30, 2019 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS at the age of 70.  She was born August 28, 1948 in Eldorado, KS, the daughter of Charles & Marjorie (Staats) Benfer.

Survivors include her husband Gordon of the home; 2 sons, Shawn of Glade & Shane of Phillipsburg; her daughter, Shelah Burton of Jay, OK; her sister Gale Gladfelter of Albuquerque, NM; 7 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

There will be a public viewing and the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with cremation to follow.
