Obituary
Phillipsburg resident, Charles Simmons, passed away Wed. January 26, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays at the age of 68. He was born Feb. 23, 1942 in Lenora, the son of Albert & Marie (Cox) Simmons. He worked on the bridge crew for Phillips County.
Survivors include his brothers: Allen & Raymond of Phillipsburg and Bob of Goodland; his sisters: Lucille & Eleanor Simmons & Margaret Judd all of Phillipsburg.
Graveside services were held Thursday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Marvin Cemetery, Glade, with Rev. Phil Morris officiating.
Memorials have been established to the Glade United Methodist Church or the K.S.U. Center for Basic Cancer Research.
