Our beloved son, Christopher John Lunsford, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 14, 2024 at the age of 26.

He was born to Jerry and Venus (Ramos) Lunsford on August 28, 1997 in Colorado Springs, CO.  Soon after his birth, the family moved to Phillipsburg, KS.  At a young age, he took an interest in baseball and later in high school got involved in wrestling.  He loved to fish and would always proclaim on how much of a better fisherman he was than his father.

After graduating high school, Christopher went to college and studied blade repair.  He then traveled around the country repairing wind turbine blades.

Chris will always be remembered by his friends and family as being very generous, respectful and witty. He was known to be a friend to everyone he came in contact with regardless of age.

His passing was an unbelievable shock to all who knew him.  He will be so ever missed and never forgotten by his family and friends

Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Venus of Phillipsburg and his sister, Sarah O'Donnell and husband Tanner of Salina, KS.

You are loved by many and will continue to live on in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jay Brandon officiating.  The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Saturday and noon to 9:00 Sunday with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
