Clarissa Ann (Benge) Bretton, daughter of William Eugene "Whitie" and Clara Bell (Staley) Benge, was born April 7, 1951 in Concordia, KS. She passed away on December 12, 2018 at the McPherson Health and Rehab in McPherson, KS at the age of 67.
She attended high school in Concordia until the passing of her father. Clarissa remained in Concordia until she was 25 when she moved to Wichita. She later lived in Phillips County, Norton County & Smith County. She had many jobs through the years as a CNA, Cashier and store manager of local truck stops. She was well known and loved by many people.
Clarissa is survived by 2 sons; Wayne Shrader of New Castle, WY & Brian Shrader of Phillipsburg; 2 daughters, April & Angela Bretton of Smith Center, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by many and loved by all who knew her

Funeral services will be held Tues., December 18th at 10:30 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Blake Stanwood officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS.
