Cleora May McPhillamy passed away at the Valley Vista Good Samaritan Center, in Wamego, Kansas, on September 13, 2023, at the age of 72.

Cleora was born on November 10, 1945 to her parents Carlos and Queenie (Iman) Pickel.

She was married to Albert "Bruce" McPhillamy on May 8, 1964.

Cleora is preceded in death by her husband Albert "Bruce" McPhillamy, father Carlos Pickel, father by choice Norman Leydig, and mother Queenie Leydig.

Survivors include her children Christina Calmes and husband LeRoy of Saint George, Kansas, Shawn McPhillamy of San Benito, Texas, Angela Petersen of Colona, Illinois, William McPhillamy and wife Theresa of Beaver City, Nebraska, Bambi McPhillamy and significant other Chad Darrah of Manhattan, Kansas, and Phillip McPhillamy and wife Amy of Grand Island, Nebraska, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Troy Buss, will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Marvin Cemetery at 11:30 a.m., in Glade, Kansas.
