Former Phillipsburg resident, Connie Joe Flores of Holyoke, Colorado, passed away, November 21, 2014 at the Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke at the age of 57.

Connie was born March 17, 1957 in Phillipsburg, the daughter of Milton Leroy "Lee" & Patsy Ann (Faulkender) Jennings. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School.

Connie attended a floral design course and made beautiful flower arrangements while living in Smithville, MO. She had a green thumb. She loved to garden and had a beautiful, full flower garden that she liked to care for. She also enjoyed visits from her grandkids and loved to give them treats. She had a sense of humor and loved a good laugh. She would re-tell jokes she heard on television or read in the papers. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy, on March 16, 1994.

Survivors include her daughter, Bobbi Pejsa & husband, Nathan, of Potter, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Ella & Benjamin Pejsa of Potter, Nebraska; her father, Lee Jennings of Phillipsburg; two brothers, Randy Jennings of North Platte, Nebraska and Mike Jennings of Phillipsburg; four sisters, LeAnn Mollet of Kansas City, Missouri, Sandy Goscha of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Terri Kendall of Baldwin City, Kansas and Stacey Jennings of Phillipsburg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel in Phillipsburg with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Connie will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, then from 9 a.m. to service time on Saturday.
