Obituary

Phillipsburg resident, Corey L. Imm passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg, at the age of 57.

He was born January 14, 1965 in Smith Center, KS the son of Lewis Dean and Darlene M. (Babcock) Imm.  He was baptized in the First Christian Church of Phillipsburg on April 3, 1977.  Corey graduated with the class of 1983 from the Phillipsburg High School.  He then attended Colby Community College and later graduated from NCK Tech in Hays, KS.

Corey was united in marriage to Mandra Joy Baumgartner on June 14, 1997 in Phillipsburg.  To this union four children were born Hannah Jacquelyn, Laike Lewis, Sophie JoyAnn, and Josie Joylee.  Corey grew up on the family farm while being active in different sports, 4H and the First Christian Church.  Corey was also the co-owner of The Shop in Phillipsburg, KS.  Corey's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.  He loved to watch his children's events, programs, races and actively helped them chase their dreams.  Corey enjoyed working on cars with his friends while growing up and then with his children later in life.

Survivors include his wife Mandy; son Laike; daughters Hannah Mongeau and husband Shane, Sophie, and Josie Imm all of Phillipsburg; granddaughter Quinley Mongeau; parents Lewis Dean and Darlene Imm of Phillipsburg; brother Tony Imm and wife Linda of Phillipsburg; and a sister Marcia Jarmer and husband Tom of Wichita, KS.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Cremation was planned.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2022 in the Huck Boyd Community Center in Phillipsburg with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. The services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Inurnment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Friends may sign the book Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. that evening for visitation in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to His Children's Education Fund.
