Damon John William Beckman passed away Thursday, October 14th, 2021at the age of 20.

He was born in Holdrege, NE on October 22nd, 2000, and he resided in Phillipsburg until the end of his 7th grade year when he moved to Concordia. Damon resided in Concordia, KS at the time of his death.

Damon enjoyed hanging with friends and racing….. whatever he could find. He loved being outside doing questionable things and he had a very giving and caring attitude. His friends were his world and he would do anything for them. He had recently gotten into racing ministocks and although he didn't finish many races, he was always just happy to be there. Damon rarely didn't have a smile on his face.

Damon was preceded in death by his mother Janna Constable, brother Trenton Brinkman and Maternal Grandmother Glenda Powers.

He is survived by his father Thane Beckman of Concordia, step-father Scott Constable of Phillipsburg, sister Daria Beckman of Phillipsburg, nephew McKennan, step sister Ashley Lee of Olathe, maternal grandfather Ron Powers of Victoria, paternal grandparents Glenn and Paula Weinman of Phillipsburg and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation was planned.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stuttgart, KS, with Pastor Lee Bennight officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, October 28, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, for visitation.

Memorial contributions in memory of Damon may be made to his nephew McKennan John's education fund.
