Phillipsburg resident Daniel "Dan" Edwards passed away on November 10, 2022, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas at the age of 82.

Dan was born on June 29, 1940, in Beloit, Kansas, to Glenn and Mayme Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Mayme, sister Gloria June Edwards, and sister-in-law Linda Edwards.

Dan is survived by his son Mike Edwards of Kentucky, daughter Christine Edwards of Phillipsburg, KS, brothers Sam Edwards and wife Arna of Prescott, AZ, John Edwards and wife Bonnie of Cawker City, KS, Loren Edwards and wife Ann of Phillipsburg, Ike Edwards of Phillipsburg, sisters Glenice Emmot and husband John of Colorado Springs, CO, Margie Stout and husband Keith Gray of Beloit, KS, as well as 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was planned. The family will be conducting a graveside service on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit, Kansas, with military honors.
