Obituary
Phillipsburg resident, Darlene M. Kearns, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 81. She was born Sept. 19, 1930 in rural Speed, KS, the daughter of Alvin & Anna (Merklein) Dahlke.
Survivors include her husband Charles of the home, her son David of Manhattan, her aunt, Margaret Jackson of Phillipsburg, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tues. Feb. 14 at 10:30 a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Lorna Paulus officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Sunday & 9:00 to 9:00 Monday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 Monday evening.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Zion Lutheran Church or the Elizabeth House.
