Obituary
Norton resident, Donald L. Mann, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Downs, KS at the age of 85. He was born Sept. 24, 1925 in Norton, the son of Clifford L. and Erma A. (Waufle) Mann. He was a retired mail carrier.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth.
Survivors include his wife Elaine of the home, 2 sons, Kennis of Leawood, KS and Kurtis of Norton; 2 daughters, Kathleen Slipe of Downs and Kaylene Thomas of Oberlin; 1 brother, Duane Mann of Norton; 1 sister, Ailene Houghton of Phillipsburg; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 11th at 10:00 a.m. in the Trinity Episcopal Church, Norton, with The Very Rev. Canon Jerry Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery with military honors by Ft. Riley.
Memorials have been established to the Donald L. Mann Memorial or Disabled American Veterans.
