Donna Faye Peterson (Morgan) of Agra, Kansas, passed away at Phillips County Hospital from natural causes in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the age of 75 years.

She was born March 30, 1948, to Clarence Benjamin Morgan and Laura Jane Baker at St. Catherine Hospital in McCook, Nebraska. She attended St. Patrick Catholic School in McCook.

She was united in marriage to Duane "Pete" Peterson, June 4, 1966, and to this union three children were born. The family made their home in Kensington, Kansas, but for the past twenty years resided in Agra, Kansas.

Donna was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for a number of years at local hospitals and nursing homes. Duane and Donna also owned and operated Pete's Place in Kensington for several years. Donna's hobbies included reading, crocheting, and collecting angels.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Stan Kummer, and brother Jim Kummer.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Duane "Pete" Peterson of the home; children, daughter Annette Lowe (Michael) of Alma, NE; sons Michael Peterson (Tamra) of Lexington, NE and Jim Peterson (James Hund) of Meriden, KS; her brother, Ben Morgan ofOmaha, NE, sister-in law Sharon Kummer, sister Patricia Guthrie (Lee), and sister Mary Ortiz all of McCook, and sisters Darlene Wahrman (Francis) and Diana Allen (Pat) both of Herndon, KS;8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Becky Saddler officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
