Former Naponee, NE resident, Doris M. Bradley, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS at the age of 79.
She was born August 18, 1936, the daughter of Loren & Jeannette (Brouliette) Townsend. Her husband, Lyle, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons: Wendell, of Atlanta, GA and Damon and Todd, both of Naponee, NE; a daughter, Diana Losey, of Wichita, KS; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Naponee Wesleyan Church, Naponee, NE, with Rev. Scott Randall officiating. Burial will follow in the Germantown Cemetery, Smith County, KS.
Mrs. Bradley will lie in-state on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 5-9 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. -noon at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel in Phillipsburg, KS, then from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Wesleyan Church in Naponee, NE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
