After her retirement she moved to Colorado to be closer to her son, Carl, and his family. Ella loved playing Bingo, traveling, trying her 'luck' at the casinos, going out to eat, and writing letters to friends & family. She passed away on Christmas Eve at her home of several years in Falcon, Colorado with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren around her.
