Eric Stephen McClurg, son of Glen & Pauline (Kemper) McClurg, was born May 24, 1949 in Stocton, Kansas. He passed away on December 20, 2019 at his home in rural Logan at the age of 70.
He attended school in Logan and graduated from Logan High School. Eric attended Kansas State for a semester before returning to Logan. He worked at Tamko and began farming in 1968. While farming, he continued to work for Tamko until he was able to get enough land to farm full time. Eric loved horses and was a cattleman at heart. He lived, farmed and ranched on Bow Creek for 51 years.
Eric loved spending time with his kids and even more with his grandkids. He was always quick to give a smile, warmth and friendship.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Greg.
Survivors include his sons; Chad & wife Denise of Logan, Kyle & wife Jacqueline of Topeka; brothers, Frank of Logan & Charlie of Hays; his grandchildren: Izabella, Lucille, Annette, Lewis & Clyde & many cousins, family & many friends.

Funeral services will be held Tues. Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m. in the Logan Christian Church, with Pastor Troy Buss officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.

Visitation will be from noon to 9:00 Monday at the funeral home.
