Phillipsburg resident, Eugene (Gene) Earl, passed away Feb. 2, 2025 at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 85.   He was born Feb. 21, 1939 in Speed, the son of Max & Ruby (Bruning) Earl.

Survivors include his wife Fran; his daughters, Julie Rowland of Phillipsburg & Jennifer Lee of Hanston, KS; his brother, Gary Earl of Nashville, TN; 4 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating.  The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery with Military Honors by Ft. Riley Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from noon to 9:00 Wednesday & 9:00 to 9:00 Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Majestic Community Theatre.
