Phillipsburg, Kansas resident, Francis M. "Frank" Ryan, passed away, Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas at the age of 81. He was retired from K N Energy, Inc.

Frank was born June 12, 1929 in Kearney, Nebraska the son of Harold J. & Ellen R. (Lahey) Ryan.

He was united in marriage to Betty L. Lich on June 15, 1948 in North Platte, Nebraska.

Frank Ryan is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; son, James Ryan of Phillipsburg; daughter, Shelly Cinalli of Olathe; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 in the SS Phillip & James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, with Father Benjamin Saw officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends following the Rosary until 8:00 p.m.

Frank Ryan will lie in state from Noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 pm. Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Phillipsburg Golf Club.
