Obituary

Long Island resident, Frank Kaiser, passed away on April 13, 2025, at the Phillips County Hospital, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, at the age of 86.

Franklin Eugene Kaiser was born on February 25, 1939, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, to his parents Arnold and Anna (Colby) Kaiser.

He was united in marriage to Pauline (Smith) Kaiser on March 26, 1960, in Leicester, England.

Frank served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1962.

He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Anna Kaiser, brother David Kaiser, and daughter-in-law Sandy Kaiser.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Pauline Kaiser of Long Island, Kansas, sons Charley Kaiser of Lenora, Kansas, and Paul Kaiser and wife Michelle of Goodland, Kansas, daughters Kirsten Baird and husband Shane of Long Island, Kansas, Lisa Kinderknecht and husband Toby of Stapleton, Nebraska, and Genie Ingram and husband Craig of Long Island, Kansas, sister Alta Morris and husband Gary of Topeka, Kansas, sisters-in-law Lois Kaiser of Hartford, South Dakota, and Marlene Panosso of Cheyboygan, Michigan, 11 grandchildren : Kyle Ingram and wife Mindy, Crystal Laurin and husband Joel, Ezra, Isaac, Christopher, and Carson Kaiser, Kelsey Montoya and husband Adam, Cole Kinderknecht and wife Lacy, Jordan Baird and wife Alli, Brooke Baird and fiancé Matt, and Paige Green and husband Joel, as well as 13 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Long Island Cemetery in Long Island, Kansas, with Pastor Ted Stapleton officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard and the Long Island American Legion Roy C. Goodrich Post 304.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan Manor or the Long Island American Legion Roy C. Goodrich Post 304.
