Alma resident, Gary L. Sims, passed away Oct. 14, 2022 at the Colonial Villa Nursing Home in Alma, NE at the age of 80.  He was born February 21, 1942 in Alma.

Survivors include his sisters: Wanda McConnell of Phillipsburg & Janet Chytil of Omaha, NE & numerous nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 21 at 2:00 p.m in the Free Methodist Church, Alma, with Pastor Jay Brandon officiating.  Burial will follow in the Alma Cemetery.

The casket will be closed.  Friends may sign the book from 5:00 to 9:00 Wednesday & 9:00 to 9:00 Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alma High School Sports & Activities Fund.
