Norton resident, Gordon Dean Husted, passed away on February 19, 2025 at the Graham County Hospital in Hill City at the age of 87.  He was born December 22, 1937 in Sheridan County, KS, the son of Franklin & Margaret (Montgomery) Husted.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his bonus brother Archie Hughes & his brother-in-law Steve Kosovich.

Survivors include his wife Anna of Norton; his children: Cynthia Wright of Almena, Robert (Sandy) of Norton, Randall (Brenda) of Almena & Charles (Kari) of Norton; his sister, Marian Kosovich of Junction City; his sister-in-law, Donna Hughes of Dallas, TX and several grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Graham County Hospital, Dr. Luke Handy and staff and Dawson Place for the amazing care Dean received.

Cremation was chosen.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
