Harold was born in Trinidad Colorado on July 26, 1950 to Daniel and Ernestine Rivera.  He passed away on March 26, 2025 at his home at the age of 74.  He resided in Colorado up until the time he moved to Almena, Kansas in August of 2011.

He is survived by his wife Catherine, Brother James Rivera (wife Barb), Sisters Kay (husband Tony), Jo Lynn and Donna (husband Bob), daughter Brandy Rivera, Step sons Bailey Towne (wife Leonor) and Ryan Towne (wife Angie), Grandchildren Bailey, Angie, Peter, Glory, Camila, Kane, Dayna, Hunter, Jessica, Jewel and Gemma. Great Grandchildren Aria and Axton.

Grandpa loved his grandchildren, was an American Legion Rider, and Librarian in Almena.  He loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1st at the First Church of God, 1010 Churchill Drive, Norton, KS  67654.
