Obituary

Huston Shellito was born December 30, 1934 to Harry and Joy (Thomason) Shellito. Huston was the middle child of three, having an older brother Don and younger sister Joan. Having lived in several towns in his child hood the family made their home in Phillips County when Huston was 17. He graduated from Phillipsburg High School. He married L. Joann Capps on May 16th, 1954. To this union 3 children where born: Ronda, Randy and Renee.

All his life Huston was an avid sports fan of his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He was often found riding the bus to and from practices and track or cross country meets. He considered himself to be the honorary coach for all sports and done a lot of side line yelling throughout most events. He enjoyed traveling and building his train town. Nothing pleased Huston any more than hearing a good joke or better yet telling one, he was known as quite a jokester and kept everyone on their toes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald, his wife, Joann and son, Randy.

He is survived by his sister Joan Wanner & husband Ronald of Smith Center; his 2 daughters, Ronda Kendall & husband Bob and Renee Miles & husband Bret both of Phillipsburg; and daughter-in-law, Marlana Shellito of Rawlins, Wyoming.

His pride and joy were his eight grandkids, Jessica Sprecker & husband Dusty, Jared Kendall, Anthony Shellito & wife Morgan, Rayleen Osborne & husband Mitch, Dustin Shellito & wife Amber, Blythe McClintock & husband Travis and Michael Wheaton and Sydney Shellito. Twelve Great Grandkids Ethan & Dylan Sprecker, Katie Jo & Madison Kendall, Austin, Logan, Silas and Chloe Shellito, Lexus, Rayleigh & Johanna Shellito and Rhett Shelton.
