Prairie View resident, Ila DeWitt, passed away Thurs., June 14, 2012 at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 86. She was born January 16, 1926, the daughter of Garried & Josie (Erickson) Greving. Ila was a homemaker & mother.

Survivors include her husband, Dick; sons, Jerry, Dennis and Roger, all of Prairie View, KS; son, Brian, of Hays, KS; daughters, Doris VanKooten of Holland, MI and Karen Huiting of Prairie View; brothers, Wayne Greving of Pella, IA and Leland Greving of Central City, NE; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, at 10:30 a.m. in the Luctor Christian Reformed Church, Phillips County, KS with Pastor Glen Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Luctor Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sat. from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. & Sun. from noon – 9:00 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with the family receiving friends Sunday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
