Phillipsburg resident, J. D. Fawver, passed away June 21, 2017 at the University of KS Medical Center in Kansas City, KS at the age of 66.

He was born May 9, 1951 in San Diego, CA to Donald & Bonnie (Kincaid) Fawver. J.D. was a Maintenance Supervisor for the KS Dept. of Transportation.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah, of Phillipsburg; son, Jason, of Hays, KS; daughters, Amanda Schulte of Olathe, KS and Sara Fawver of Denver, CO; two grandchildren; and a brother, Jim of Puyalup, Washington.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating.

Friends may sign the book on Thursday, June 29, from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg. The family will greet friends that evening from 7 – 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to his Grandchildren's Education Fund or the Phillips County E.M.S.
