IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacqueline Andrea
Babcock
July 30, 1947 – January 1, 2024
Jacqueline Andrea (Rogers) Babcock, 76, peacefully passed away on New Year's Morning at her home in Victoria, Kansas.
Jacqueline was born on July 30, 1947, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, to her parents Warren and Ida (Bickett) Rogers.
She married Dennis Babcock in 1967 and was later divorced.
She was welcomed home with open arms by her parents Warren and Ida (Bickett) Rogers, infant brother Terrance Rogers, brother Larry Rogers, and sister Ardith (Rogers) Horn.
Loved ones waiting to greet her again include son Darrin Babcock and wife Jessica of Littlefield, Texas, daughter Dedra Karlin and partner Mike Lindsay of Victoria, Kansas, brother Mike Rogers of Salina, Kansas, and sister Diane Portenier of McPherson, Kansas, as well as 5 grandchildren; Aryan Karlin and partner Cristian Gonzalez, Drayden Karlin, Samara Babcock, Dylan Babcock, and Ryker Karlin, and 2 great grandchildren; Anya and Capri Gonzalez.
Jacqueline was a woman with many names; Jackie, Jax, Aunt, Sister, Mom, Grandma, and Gigi. No matter what name was used it was spoken with love. If you knew Jackie, you knew she didn't take life too serious. In her eyes, life should be lived full of laughter, surrounded by the people you love. She held a deep love and connection with animals. Snowflake, Otis, Chiquita, and Willow will all miss resting next to her and attempting (almost always succeeding) to take her food. Even though she wasn't at church every Sunday, she had a strong relationship with God.
My grandma Jackie had one last request for her family and friends. "Now I wouldn't ask for anyone not to cry, what I do ask for is for all to share a laugh together over some ice cream."
A celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Jay Brandon, will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, in Phillipsburg, the services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page , with a visitation to follow until Noon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jacqueline Babcock Memorial Fund.
