Janet Rae Davis, daughter of Perry Eugene Walker and Serene (Idland) Walker, was born August 8, 1946 in Glendive, Montana. She passed away December 16, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 70.
Jan grew up in Glendive, MT and graduated from Dawson County High School with the class of 1964. On July 15, 1979, she was united in marriage to Robert Lee Davis in Glendive.
Jan studied nursing at the Lutheran School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated in 1967. She retired in 2009 from her job in St. George, Utah. Jan obtained her nursing certification in Kansas and did some part-time work but did not enjoy the new technology being utilized in the nursing field.
Jan also traveled with her husband on a public speaking tour and in 1986 the couple bought an 18-wheeler and drove coast-to-coast.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, collecting pigs and Barbies, and of course, driving in parades with "Tractor Bob" and the candy cannon.
Jan was baptized on August 12, 1979 at Little Lake Alice in Scottsbluff, NE. She lived her life in faith and prayed that all her family & friends would also come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Her parents and husband, Bob, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her stepdaughter, Donna (Davis) Morrison & son-in-law, Brian, of Loveland, CO; three grandchildren: Ashley Nichole Morrison, Alyssa Danielle Morrison and Aaron Pierce Morrison; her brother, Gary Walker & sister-in-law, Norma Jean, of Helena, MT; and sister-in-law, Arloene Gieber of Omaha, NE.

Funeral services will be held Wed. December 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heartland Worship Center, Agra, with Pastor Jonathan Gibson officiating. A private family burial will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Monday & 9:00 to 9:00 Tuesday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
