Phillipsburg resident, Margaret Jane Trent, passed away on January 16, 2024 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 96.  She was born May 12, 1927 in Athol, KS, the daughter of Harold & Mabel (Scott) McCorkle.

Survivors include her son, Dick of Phillipsburg; daughters, Janet Horinek of Phillipsburg, Marcia Brown of Las Cruces, NM & Sheri Vance of Jefferson, CO; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren & 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Pastor Darlene Nonhof officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Phillipsburg Little League Ball Programs.

Visitation will be from noon to 9:00 Sunday and 9:00 to 9:00 Monday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.Monday.
