Jaunita R. Meadows passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 88.

Jaunita Rose McClain was born on August 8, 1937, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, to her parents Charles and Mable Marie (Good) McClain.

On November 27, 1954, Jaunita married Harold Meadows in Phillipsburg, Kansas, and together had 3 children.

Jaunita was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mable McClain, and husband Harold Meadows.

Survivors include sons Carl Meadows and wife Dianna of Holton, Kansas, Gary Meadows and wife Brenda of Reed Springs, Missouri, daughter Cheryl Elder and husband Carlos of Soldier, Kansas, 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service is planned on November 1, 2025 at 11 a.m., at the Pleasant Hill (Hillside) Cemetery.
