Obituary
Phillipsburg resident, Jo Ann Lumpkin, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg, KS at the age of 75.
She was born March 20, 1934 in Kansas City, MO to Charles & Helen (Curry) Boswell. Jo Ann was a former Art teacher at Phillipsburg High School.
She is survived by her husband, Don, of the home; son Todd, of Kirwin, KS; daughter, Lisa Millan of Norton, KS; brother, Dan Boswell of Vancouver, WA; sister-in-law, Norma Brown of North Platte, NE; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Cremation was planned. Memorial services were held Thurs., Feb. 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. Private family inurnment will follow the service.
Memorials may be given to Hospice Services.
