Phillipsburg resident, John E. Rockey, passed away December 7, 2022 at the Harlan County Hospital in Alma, NE at the age of 60.

John was born August 4, 1962 in Belleville, KS the son of William O. and Kathleen Joan (Kovich) Rockey.

He was united in marriage to Janet F. Dressen on April 14, 1986 in Stockton, KS.  She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter Cyrstal O'Rourke and husband Kevin of Phillipsburg; daughter Natasha; son Jason; brother Robert Rockey and wife Andrea of Hutchinson, KS; sisters Lorie Campbell and husband Max of Phillipsburg and Patty Shafer of Arapahoe, NE; and four grandchildren.

Cremation was planned.  No services are scheduled at this time
