Rural Logan, KS resident, Kenneth Ray Ayers, age 59, died at his home on June 8, 2010.
He was born January 30, 1951 in Berryville, Arkansas the son of William Carson & Thelma (Rose) Ayers.
Kenneth worked as an Oil Pumper for the Murfin Oil Company for many years until his health began to fail.
He was united in marriage to Alberta Ann "Bert" Vrbas on August 11, 1973 in Hill City, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Thelma Jarrett of Hill City, KS; son, Michael Ayers of Topeka, KS; daughter, Bobbi Paulsen of Vass, NC; 2 grandchildren, Dale & Amanda Paulsen; brother, Kim J. "Jay" Ayers of Palco, KS; and 2 sisters, Linda Foster of Hope, KS and Brenda Billinger of Great Bend, KS.
Cremation was planned. No services are scheduled at this time.
