Norton resident, Kenneth Kent passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Andbe Home in Norton at the age of 94.

He was born September 24, 1926 in Lenora, KS the son of Guy Edwin and Goldie Florence (Heines) Kent.  He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Kenneth was united in marriage to Virginia Wickham in Kansas City, KS in 1950.  To this union two children were born, Ron and Roxane. Virginia preceded him in death in 1975.  He then met a married Sandra Kuiken.  Sandra had a son from a previous marriage, Greg Kuiken.  Following 25 years of marriage the couple divorced.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Virginia; and two brothers, Charles and Edwin.

He owned and operated Kent's Refrigeration before he purchased the Norton Ice Company in Norton.

Survivors include his son Ron Kent and wife Nancy and a daughter Roxane Kent, all of Norton; step-son Greg Kuiken and wife Andrea; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Cremation was planned.  No services are scheduled at this time.
