Obituary
Rural Logan resident, Kyle Roy Brobst, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 in Centennial, WY at the age of 22.
He was born in Hill City, KS on March 18, 1989 the son of Lee A. & Donna L. (Baker) Brobst. He graduated from the Logan High School with the class of 2007.
Kyle then attended Fort Hays State University for 3 ½ years before returning to work on the family farm. He enjoyed being outdoors, not just mending fences on the farm, but also hunting and fishing. He also liked sports, especially basketball. But mostly, he loved just hanging with his friends.
Kyle is survived by his parents of Rural Logan; his brother, Justin & wife, Michelle of Wichita, KS; his sister, Carri Brobst of Hays, KS; and his grandfather, Darrell Baker of Logan, KS.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 24, 2011 in the Logan Christian Church, Logan, KS, with Pastor Troy Buss officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.
He will lie in state from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday in the Logan Funeral Home, 102 E. Church St., Logan, KS 67647
Memorials may be made to the Logan Christian Church or Kyle Brobst Memorial Fund.
