Obituary
Former Phillipsburg resident, Larry Warren Rogers, Clever, Missouri, died Thursday, October 13th, 2011 at the age of 65. He was born March 28, 1946 in Long Island, KS, the son of Warren & Ida (Bickett) Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Connie of the home; daughter, Cher Simpson of Raymore, Missouri; 2 sons, Pete of Phillipsburg and Sonny of Raymore, Missouri; brother, Mike Rogers of Salina; sisters, Ardith Horn & Diane Portenier, both of Phillipsburg and Jacque Babcock of Salina; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.
Cremation was planned. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 in the First Assembly of God Church in Phillipsburg. An inurnment with military honors will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Glen Elder Cemetery, Glen Elder, KS.
Friends may sign the book from noon until 9:00 p.m. Monday in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or Donor's Choice.
