Lawrence "Squeaky" Moore, 53, of Glade, Kansas, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at his home. He was born October 8, 1956 in Ashland, Kansas to Marshall Otis and Mildred (Daniels) Moore. As a young boy growing up, Lawrence moved many places with his family.

In the 1970's he took a job with the Phillips County Waste Department and moved to Phillipsburg. It was here that he met his wife, Mary Smith, and the two were married on April 15, 1978. This union was blessed with two daughters, Ilia and Jessica.

Lawrence was then employed at Tamko Roofing Products as a forklift operator, where he worked for twelve years before opening his own business, "Squeaky's Metal Polishing", in 1982.

In 1994, Lawrence was offered an opportunity to work as Polishing Supervisor for Halibrand, Inc. in Wellington, Kansas. After several years he chose to leave that company, and in 1998 he moved back to Glade, Kansas. With much help from his family and friends, he added onto his garage and re-opened his business as the "Stainless Trim Shop".

In his spare time Lawrence enjoyed working in his yard, playing snooker, and helping his friends.

Preceding him in death were his father, Marshall Otis; his sister, Theresa; and his son-in-law, Christopher Burkes.
