Leland Carl Bach, age 89, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in the Good Samaritan Society in Alma, NE.

Leland was born March 14, 1937, in Stuttgart, KS, the son of Carl and Lorraine (Satter) Bach.

On May 4, 1963, he was united in marriage to Karen Jean Covey. She preceded him in death on August 19, 2013.

Survivors include his three sons: Anthony and wife Monica of Phillipsburg, Stuart of Meriden, KS, and Jason and wife Terri of Alma, NE; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Peace Lutheran Church in Alma, NE, with Pastor Curtis Simonson officiating. Burial will follow at the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Stuttgart, KS.

Mr. Bach will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Thursday and again from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
