Logan resident, Leland R. Winkel, passed away June 8, 2022 at the Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in Buhler, KS at the age of 81.  He was born April 2, 1941 in Helena, MT.

Survivors include his daughter Darlene Post of Hill City; his sons, Gary of Hutchinson & Darin of Salina; his brother Ralph of Wyoming; 6 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Logan Christian Church with Pastor Troy Buss officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hill City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 9:00 Thursday at the Logan Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan Manor.
