Linda Lee Randall, daughter of Blaine & Hattie (Gaddis) Clarkson, was born in Pratt, Kansas on April 16, 1947. She passed away at Hospice & Homecare of Reno County in Hutchinson, Kansas on October 6, 2018, at the age of 71.
Linda grew up & attended schools in Pratt, graduating from high school in 1965.
She was united in marriage to Ronald L. Randall on September 4, 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska. This union was blessed with two children, Travis and Chantal.
Linda was a devoted wife and mother who loved caring for her home and children. She enjoyed painting, sewing, baking desserts, listening to country music and watching old episodes of Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons on TV.
When her children were growing up, the family enjoyed taking "modern" camping trips together (only RV's and hotels. . . .No tents, please!) Linda loved animals and thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer, birds and other wildlife in the outdoors. After the kids were grown, Linda and Ronald enjoyed traveling together, visiting historical sites and zoos in many different states.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine and Hattie; her brother, James, and sister, Rita.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald, of Hutchinson, KS; son, Travis & wife, Chelsey, of Bellevue, NE; daughter, Chantal Randall of Omaha, NE; eight grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Patterson & husband, Ted, of Coats, KS.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, KS, with Pastor Blake Stanwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Cemetery, Glade, KS.
Mrs. Randall will lie in state from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and again from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 2nd Street, Phillipsburg, KS 67661.
