Phillipsburg resident, Lucille Mary Miller, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, KS at the age of 62. She was born January 30, 1948 in McCook, NE, the daughter of Vernon & Gladys (Caywood) Shepker. Lucille was a Registered Nurse.

Survivors include her husband, Dick, of the home; sons Richard and Eddie, both of Phillipsburg; daughter, Mary Lewis of Dublin, Ohio; brothers, Jim Shepker of Andrews, TX and Rick Shepker of Hays, KS; sisters, Deb Shepker and Janie Kroll, both of Kearney, NE; three grandchildren and numerous adopted grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Phillips County.

Mrs. Miller will lie in-state Thursday from noon – 9 p.m. and again Friday morning at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials may be given to the First Lutheran Building Fund or the Donor's Choice.
