Beloit resident, Ludene A. Hoft, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, KS at the age of 72.
She was born February 20, 1940 in Densmore, Kansas, the daughter of Ivory Ellsworth and Ida (Griffin) Damewood. Ludene worked as a nurse's aide & at Paul's Café in Smith Center.
Survivors include her sons, Rusty Hoft of Ellis, KS and Rodney Hoft of Cawker City, KS; daughters Jerre Ammons of Beloit, KS and JoEllis Abram of Glen Elder, KS; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Lora Belle Sander and Delsia Grover, both of Stockton, KS and Jean Runnion of Phillipsburg, KS.
Cremation was planned. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Solomon Valley Hospice in care of the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 563 Phillipsburg, KS 67661
