Phillipsburg resident, Lyle W. Allen, passed away on Aug. 25, 2021 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 98.

Survivors include his son Patrick of Phillipsburg; 2 daughters, Michelle Brown of Lyons & Kay Medlin of Virginia Beach, VA; his step-son Bob Van Allen of Albuquerque, NM; 2 step-daughters, Jeri Schmid of Agra & Barb Polfer of Leawood; his sister Edna Mangum of Jackson, GA; 6 step-grandchildren & numerous step great & great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page.  Burial will follow in the  West Cedar Cemetery with military honors by the Agra American Legion. The family will receive friends following the graveside at the Agra American Legion.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00 Sat. & noon to 9:00 Sun. with the family receiving friends from 3:00 to 4:00 Sunday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Hospice Services or the Agra Fire Dept.
