On Friday, January 21st 2022 Margaret S. (Smith) Nix loving wife and mother of 3 passed away at the age of 66.

Margaret was born on Aug 4th 1955 to E.B. and Annie (Simons) Smith. She grew up in Texas. Margaret married Paul Nix March 1st 1979.  They were blessed with 3 children Misty, LaDonna and Nicholas.

In her younger years she was a waitress and enjoyed the challenges that came with it. She taught her children to always give their all when working and to finish what they have started no matter how bad it

Margaret always put her family first. She never missed a ball game for her kids or grandkids. She loved her family fiercely. She had a close relationship with her brothers and sisters.  She enjoyed a good joke and even liked some of the music the grandkids played. Music and dancing were a big part of her life . She taught her kids to 2 step and several other dances. Margaret always had the time to listen to the kids and grandkids problems. She always said things will work out.

Preceded in death by her husband  Paul Nix daughter Misty Redinger  sisters Martha and Judy Brothers Ronnie and Donnie & her parents.

Left to mourn her passing are son Nicholas (Sammi) Nix ; daughter  LaDonna (Jacob) Stice; her brother E.B. Smith Jr; her sisters, Pam (Ed) Rogers, Patsy Turner & Nelda Massey; her nieces and nephews; her grandchildren, Devon and Sydnee Redinger  Annabelle, Thomas, Jasmine & MacKenzie Kester, Olivia Halatek, Justice Stice & Maci Nix,  & her great grandson Jonathan

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Jay Brandon officiating.  The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page.  Burial will follow in the West Cedar Cemetery.
